By Our Correspondent,Banke, May 31: The team of the Nepali film Narasimha Avatar, including legendary actor Rajesh Hamal, held an interaction programme with local journalists in Banke district.
The event was organised by the Banke branch of the Film Journalists Association of Nepal and was attended by the film’s cast, producer, director, and other team members.
During the interaction held in Nepalgunj, Banke, discussions took place regarding the current state, trends, prospects, and challenges of the Nepali film industry.
Talking to journalists, superstar Rajesh Hamal expressed his happiness over the growing market for cinema in western Nepal.
He said, “We are on a journey toward the prosperity of Nepali cinema. What we need now is to produce quality films and build a stronger connection with the audience. This is a subject I am passionate about. That’s why this journey of ours is not only about promoting a film but also about exploring what the film industry needs now.”
On this occasion, actors Raj Katuwal, Sanisha Bhattarai, and Prakash Kunwar shared details about the theme of Narasimha Avatar, their experiences working on it, and the team’s plans to promote the film across the country.
Journalists from Banke also emphasised the increasing pace of film promotion in western Nepal and suggested that the film's premiere should be held at the world-class cinema hall located in the region.
The Narasimha Avatar team has been conducting interactive programmes across different parts of the country. The film was released nationwide on May 23.
