Jestha 21 to be marked as national day against untouchability
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 29: The government has announced that it will mark Jestha 21 as national day against untouchability with a view to enhancing self-respect of the dalit community and their inclusion in the society.
Deputy Prime
Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel made this announcement while
presenting the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year
of 2025/026 at the joint meeting of the federal parliament today.
