By Our Correspondent,Tanahun, Apr. 18: Chiranjivi Bhandari, who has long been active in the field of singing and music, has now started appearing as a model.
While he has, of late, been gaining popularity in music, he has also started to increase his involvement in modelling.
His performance in the music video titled Timisangai Hun received much attention, encouraging him to pursue modeling more enthusiastically.
Directed by Subrat Raj Acharya, the video features Chiranjivi and Kabita Neupane.
Bhandari said, “Director Acharya requested me to appear in the music video, and I acted in it. The appreciation I received boosted my enthusiasm.”
The music video, which is available on Chiranjivi Bhandari’s YouTube channel, was shot by Utsav Dahal and edited by Bishnu Khadka.
The song, written by Pratima Gurung, is sung by Milan Newar and Chiranjivi Bhandari.
Chiranjivi also composed the music for the song, which was arranged by Sanjiv Baraili.
Bhandari also acted alongside Jebika Karki in another song titled Bistaarai Bistaarai Timi Mero Hunu.
Due to the positive response from these videos, Bhandari said he is now considering acting in upcoming modern, folk-pop, and devotional songs.
The popularity of the songs he has modelled has also increased his engagements in fairs and festivals.
Having built his career through relentless struggle, Bhandari is now receiving offers for playback singing as well.
His playback singing journey began with the film Relimai, in which he sang the song Jau Hida, marking his entry into the film industry.
To date, singer Bhandari has received more than a dozen national awards and honours.
On Chaitra 2, during the Epic Nepal Music Awards 2025 held in Bhaktapur, he won the award for Best Devotional Singer for the bhajan Radha Bina Krishna Aadha Aadha, written by lyricist Pratima Gurung.
