Kusti set to release on Sept. 25

By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, May 5: Kusti, produced and directed by Anil Yonjan, is set to be released on September 25.

The film was shot in Kathmandu and its surrounding areas. The film portrays a couple deeply in love who struggle to stay together due to their contrasting personalities.The film stars Dhiraj Magar, Miruna Magar, Pushkar Gurung, Lunibha Tuladhar, Bholaraj Sapkota, Dikila Sherpa, Rabindra Jha, Rajaram Poudel, Kiran KC, and Suryaman Limbu, among others.

Dikila Sherpa, who secured a place in the Top 15 at the 61st Miss India 2026 and won the ‘Miss Multimedia’ title, makes her debut in Nepali cinema with this film. She previously won the ‘Miss Teen Fashion Icon’ title in 2021, highlighting her early promise and passion for beauty pageants. 

She also gained recognition through MTV India’s popular reality show Splitsvilla Season 5.

The film features cinematography by Umang Shahi, editing by Mitradev Gurung, music by Deepak Sharma, Anil Yonjan, and Kalyan Singh, and colour correction by Renish Phago.
