Kathmandu, April 2: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade signed a memorandum of understanding on forging cooperation to promote trade between the two countries.
FNCCI Chair Chandra Dhakal and Chair of Thai Board of Trade, Sanan Angubolkul, signed the MoU during the official visit of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to Thailand today.
The FNCCI shared that the MoU signed between the trade groups of Nepal and Thailand is aimed at strengthening bilateral trade and preparing outline for expanding investment. It is believed that the MoU would be significant for boosting the two-country trade relations.
The FNCCI issued a statement reading, "Both sides are committed to cooperating each other on trade fair and joint industrial facilities. The participation in the trade fair, commercial forums and special economic programmes would be promoted." (RSS)
