BY A STAFF REPORTER,Kathmandu, Mar. 11: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli unveiled the autobiography 'Mera Atitka Kathaharu' (Stories from My Past) written by former Vice Chancellor of the Nepal Academy, Ganga Prasad Upreti, amid a programme held in Kathmandu on Monday.
During the book launch, Prime Minister Oli expressed his belief that Upreti, who has consistently shown unwavering commitment to the nation and its transformation under all circumstances, will inspire the new generation to awaken through his work.
Prime Minister Oli shared that Upreti was not only his neighbour from his ancestral home but also a fellow jail mate during his political journey. He said that Upreti had left college to pursue politics, driven by the belief that the country needed change and its people deserved better.
The book published by Makalu Prakashan was reviewed by former Vice Chancellor of the Nepal Academy, Bairagi Kainla, former Member Secretary Prof. Jagat Prasad Upadhyay, Chairperson of the Nepal Education Council, Rama Sharma and others.
