Kathmandu, March 5: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) bade farewell to Nepali Women's Cricket Team leaving for Uganda to play Four-Nation Women's T20 series.
Organising a programme here on Wednesday, CAN bade farewell to the team extending best wishes for the success.
Nepal, Uganda, Hong Kong and Namibia are participating in the series to be held from March 8.
CAN Secretary Paras Khadka extended best wishes to the team for the success, saying cricket exposure in new place would help the team enrich experiences.
Nepal will play its first match against Namibia on March 8, Uganda on March 9, Hong Kong on March 10.
Similarly, Nepal will again play against Namibia on March 12, Uganda on March 13 and Hong Kong on March 14. The two highest scorer teams of the series would play the final match.
The Nepali team includes Indu Berma (Captain), Rubina Chhetri, Puja Mahato, Alisha Kumari Yadav, Sana Prabin, Roma Thapa, Bindu Rawal, Samjhana Khadka, Mamata Chaudhary, Kabita Joshi, Riya Sharma, Rajmati Airee, Rachana Chaudhary and Ishwori Bista.(RSS)
