Two injured in tiger attack in Saptari

By Sudha Dev, Saptari, Mar.3:  Two people sustained injuries after being attacked by a tiger that came to Saptakoshi Municipality -1 of Saptari on Monday morning.

Local Khagendra Karki said that local Ganesh Khatri and Krishna Bista were injured.

Bista, who was injured, was taken to Biratnagar for treatment, while he is being treated at a local clinic in Khatri.

Locals of Saptakoshi got frightened after abruptly seeing a tiger in the compound of a house near the stadium gate of Fatepur Bazaar at 6:30 AM. 

Ramanand Chaudhary said that locals of Saptakoshi are terrified after a tiger wreaked havoc in the area.

Chief district officer of Saptari Bhola Dahal said that a team from the reservation center of the Koshitappu Wildlife Reserve will come to control the tiger.
