By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 25: 29th Nepal English Language Teachers' Association (NELTA) International Conference -2025 is going to be held from February 27 to March 1 at Little Angels' School, Hattiban, Lalitpur.
According to the President of NELTA Professor Doctor Laxman Gnawali, presentations will be presented on the theme of machine, Humanity, and Language: Navigating the Uncharted Frontiers in ELT at the conference. Presentations will incorporate 15 Sub-themes.
English Language Specialist, U.S. Department of State Dr Dayamudra Ann Dennehy, NELTA Founding President and former Vice Chancellor, TU Prof. Dr Tirth Raj Khaniya, NELTA President Prof. Dr Laxman Gnagwali, Advisor to NELTA and NELTA Past President Assoc. Prof. Ganga Ram Gautam, EdTech Lead, English and School Education Programmes of British Council Neenaz Ichaporia, Former ambassador to United Nations from Nepal Prof. Dr Jaya Raj Acharya among others will be the keynote speakers at the conference.
NELTA was founded in 1992. The British Council Nepal played an instrumental role in the establishment of the Association. The main objective behind its establishment was to set up a common platform for all the teachers of English in Nepal to support their professional development.
