6-Year-Old Boy Killed After Being Hit by a Van in Kailali

By Avinash Chaudhary, Dhangadhi, Feb.25: A six-year-old Jenish Bista of Lamkichuha Municipality-5 after being hit by a van in Kailali district. 

According to the District Police Office, a child was hit by a passenger vehicle (01001 Cha 3747) in front of Lal Ratna Hospital in Lamkichuha of Kailali district. 

The injured was undergoing treatment at Lal Ratna Hospital and died in the course of treatment at the hospital. 

According to District Police Office spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kavindra Singh Bohara, Bista was hit by a van yesterday.

Police have detained the driver of the vehicle, 23-year-old Bhoj Raj KC of Mangalsen Municipality-4, of Achham district.
