Weather likely to remain fair across the country

Kathmandu, Feb 21: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas of the country and will be fair rest of the part as there is an impact of westerly low-pressure system.    

The Division said that light rain is predicted to occur in one or two places of high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.    

Likewise, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and partly cloudy in the rest of the hilly regions of the country tonight. The high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces could receive light snowfall tonight.   

 
In the next 24 hours, light rain is predicted in one or two places of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.    

The Division has urged all concerned to remain cautious in view of the partial effects of the weather on health, road and the civil aviation adding that the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and one or two places of other provinces could receive light snowfall. (RSS)
