PM Oli scheluded to attend convocation ceremony of Pokhara University today

By Phadindra Adhikari, Lekhnath, Feb.20: The 20th Convocation Ceremony of Pokhara University is being held today.  

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to arrive in Pokhara this afternoon to attend the 20th convocation ceremony of Pokhara University, established in 1997 under the Pokhara University Act, 1997, on Thursday. 

Information officer Lok Prasad Dhakal said that the preparations for the ceremony to be held at Pokhara University Khudi under the chairmanship of educationist and social worker  George John , have been completed.

PM Oli is the chancellor of the PoAHS. A total of 7, 872 students are graduating from the Academy today and 745 students have made it on the DEAN list. 

The first convocation of PoHAS was held on January 20, 2020. So far, 63,558 students have graduated from the university.
