Service diversification further proves RSS relevance: PM Oli

Kathmandu, Feb 19: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the RSS latest efforts to diversify its services besides Nepali and English has further proved its relevance.    


Extending his best wishes to the entire RSS family and clients on the occasion of the RSS 64th anniversary today, he promised all sorts of facilitations from the government level for the organisation's legal and structural improvements and enhancement.    


According to the Prime Minister, it has been realised that the RSS responsibility and roles have further increased in terms of educating the mass through the dissemination of fact-based, credible and authentic services.    


 The RSS new initiations that include the audio-visual services, news bulletins in mother languages, RSS dialogue with lawmakers and features/opinions columns have further established its relevance.    


The Prime Minister stressed that the roles of RSS that is a continuous witness for various political, economic and social transformations in the country, should be transformed as per the need of time.


He stressed that RSS should ensure promptness, professionalism and quality in its services, by discouraging the 'attempts' to promote the flourish of fabricated and fake information and properly educating the citizens. "The RSS-like organisations should present themselves as leading entities," he asserted.    


Stating that the incumbent is government was formed for securing development, prosperity and stability, he said the government has expedited its efforts for development.    


He further added that the government is committed to the total freedom of the Press and opinion, urging the Press including the RSS to contribute to the strengthening of nationality, democracy, good governance and development. He also expressed hope that the RSS will be successful toward that end.  (RSS)
