Falgun 7 a turning point for Nepal and Nepali: Former President Bhandari

Kathmandu, Feb.19: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that Falgun 7 is a turning point for Nepal and Nepali people.

Taking to social media, former President Bhandari said, "Falgun 7 has been a turning point for Nepal and Nepali people."

Standing on this platform, we Nepali achieved success in the movement up to the establishment of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal with the multi-party system.

Commemorating the sacrifice of the martyrs, she expressed her best wishes that political parties, civil society, concerned bodies, and all Nepali will be inspired to continue fighting for the all-round development and prosperity of Nepal.

She paid tribute to all the known and unknown martyrs who contributed to the establishment of democracy.
