Nutritious foods provided to tuberculosis patients

 Mahottari, Feb 1: Nutritious foods have been distributed to the patients suffering from tuberculosis and currently receiving treatment in Mahottari district. 

Each tuberculosis patient got 25-kg of rice, a litre of mustard oil, 1.5 kg of grams, a kg of wheat flour, a crate of eggs and a kg of soybean. 

A total of 80 people are receiving such support this year, according to Ramgopalpur municipality. 

Similarly, similar support was provided to poor people, senior citizen, pregnant and new mothers and unemployed persons.  A programme to provide nutritious foods has been implemented at Gaushala, Ramgopalpur, Aurahi and Balawa municipalities as well as Sonam rural municipality. (RSS)
