Morang, Jan 31: Nepali Congress Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka has said defended the government move to issue ordinances stating that the ordinances were aimed at making the country's economy robust.
At a programme organized by the NC's Supply and Consumer Department in Biratnagar on Friday, Khadka said the ordinances were brought to ensure better supplies of goods, bring in investment in the country and create employment in the country by promoting IT companies.
He also argued that the current government was formed to transfer people's frustration created due to political instability into confidence.
Former Chief Minister of Koshi Province and NC leader Uddhab Thapa, NC leaders Min Bishwakarma, Guru Baral, Phul Kumari Lalwani and others expressed their views for maximizing the use of domestic productions to advance towards the nation's prosperity.(RSS)
