School gate collapse claims life of student in Kailali

By Avinash Chaudhary, Dhangadhi, Jan.24: A student lost his life after the collapse of a school entrance gate in Kailali district.

According to the Sudurpaschim Province Police Office, Dhangadhi. , 8-year-old Pravesh Rana of Kailari Rural Municipality-9 was killed when the main entrance gate of Janata Secondary School in Gadariya, Kailari Rural Municipality-9 fell suddenly.

According to the District Police Office, Kailali, the collapse caused a severe head injury, leading to his demise. 

Another eight-year-old student Sameer Chaudhary has also sustained an injury in the incident.

Sameer, who suffered a head injury, is undergoing treatment at Nisarga Hospital, Dhangadhi. 

The main entrance gate of the school suddenly fell at 2:30 PM on Thursday while the children were playing inside the school grounds.
