By Bhaktibilas Pokhrel, Gaighat, Nov.20: Construction of a concrete bridge over the Triyuga River connecting Hadiya and Devdhar with Madan Bhandari Highway, located in Chaudandigadhi Municipality-10 of Udayapur district, has been moving swiftly.
Daroga Prasad, Project Chief Engineer of Bridge Sector Dharan, said that the construction company has proceeded with the construction work of the Triyuga bridge of Hadiya Devdhar in such a way that it gets completed one year ahead of the scheduled time limit.
The agreement was signed on December 7, 2022, by the bridge division of the Department of Roads under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport under the Design and Bridge Model to build a bridge to connect the Hadiya area to the Gaighat Beltar section of Madan Bhandari Highway.
Umesh Shrestha, director of the construction company, said according to the latest policy of the department, the construction business needs to prepare the report of soil test and environmental impact assessment and after confirming the budget based on the cost estimate, and after getting approval of a design of the bridge that can be constructed within the specified time frame, the construction of the Triyuga bridge connecting Hadiya-Devdhar sped up without delay as per the approved design.
According to Engineer Prasad, Surya & Sons Private Limited Sunsari Dharan has been constructing the two-lane bridge of 320 meters long and 11 meters width with 650 meters long approach on an investment of Rs 403 million.
