Federation of Nepali Industries and Entrepreneurs (FENIE) has submitted a
40-page concept paper about the ways to improve nation's economy to Prime
Minister KP Sharma Oli.
The concept paper includes the common concern of the private sector,
according to the private secretariat of the PM.
A delegation of FENIE led by its Coordinator Bhagirath Sapkota
presented the concept paper to PM Oli today at Baluwatar, the official
residence of the PM. FENIE is a professional organization affiliated to the CPN
(UML).
The concept paper includes the problems of the private sector and the suggestions
to solve them.
The problems and suggestions were elicited from the discussions with
the business community held by FENIE on August 23.
The paper concludes that the nation's economy and business people are facing
a difficult situation at present and that the government should be focused on
policy level reform.
On the occasion, PM Oli said that the government was working in a
planned way to improve economy and that the business community should work from
their place to increase production and productivity.
