USA defeats Nepal in CWC league-2
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct 28: United States of America (USA) defeated Nepal by 3 wickets in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup league-2 series held at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Taxes on Suday.
Nepal scored 286 runs in 50 overs. Chasing 287 runs, to win, US achieved the target in 49.4 overs with the loss of 7 wickets.
For Nepal, Rohit Paudel scored 96 runs in 75 balls, Anil Sah scored 56 runs in 62 balls and Aashif Sheikh scored 52 runs in 53 balls.
For USA, Shayan Jahangir scored 104 runs in 97 balls. Monank Patel scored 62 runs in 76 balls and Harmeet Singh scored 57 runs in 44 balls.
