Singer Dhakal’s Australia tour begins from Sydney

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Sept. 30: Singer Ram Krishna Dhakal kicked off his musical tour ‘Ram Krishna Dhakal Australia Tour’ by singing old and new songs in Sydney on Saturday evening.

Taking the stage while singing the song ‘Bihan Uthne Bitikai’ Dhakal went on to present his popular tracks such as ‘Bachun Jaililai’,  ‘Orali Lageko’,  ‘Najik Aunuma’ and ‘Charile Ta Chadhera’. 

He concluded the event with his dance number ‘Ae Maya Jadau’ to which the audience enthusiastically danced.  Dhakal mentioned that he had been doing concerts in Australia since 2009, and this is his fourth tour to Australia. During the programme, he also expressed his concern about the ongoing floods and landslides in Nepal due to continuous rain,”

Dhakal managed to captivate the audience for three hours through his music at the event organised by Palpa Services. 

Dhakal shared that since he would be celebrating Dashain in Australia this year, he would be performing in several cities. He announced that his performances were already scheduled in cities like Newcastle and Adelaide. 

 Dhakal also premiered his song ‘Jiwanko Ko Hisaab’ to a world audience. 

He made the attendees the first viewers of his music video, which tells the story of Nepalis forced to go abroad for work due to financial hardship.

The song, released through OSR Digital, features lyrics by Manoj Khadka and music by Danny Niraula. 

The video, directed by Dhanendra Rasaili, features Dilip Rayamajhi, Sabina Thapaliya, Manoj Khadka, and others.
