Domestic flights affected due to adverse weather

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept.27: The majority of fights have been disrupted owing to adverse weather invited by the incessant rainfall from Wednesday night.

According to Tribhuvan International Airport TIA office spokesperson Rinji Sherpa, most of the domestic flights have been disrupted due to unfavorable weather.

He said that the flights to Janakpur, Bhairahawa, Simara, and Dhangadhi, have taken off while the flights to other remaining destinations were unable to fly due to bad weather.

He said, 'Flights in hilly and Himalayan region have been canceled while other airports are slowly starting to open. If the weather clears till afternoon then flights can be made.”
