Thuli Bheri swells, urged to be vigilant

By Raju Lamichhane, Rukum West, Aug.12: The water level in the Thuli Bheri River has increased excessively triggered by the incessant rainfall. The settlement near the riverbank is urged to be vigilant as the water level in Thuli Bheri, which flows through Dolpa,  is persistently rising. 

The water level has risen to about six feet. 

The Mayor of the Athaviskot Municipality, Dolpa, Rabi KC has urged all living near the riverbank to be cautious. 

He mentioned that there is information from the Chief District Officer and District Police Office that the water level will rise because of the incessant rainfall and some damage in the coastal area is likely to be followed. 

By issuing a public release the District Police Office, Rukum (West), has urged all to avoid fishing and collecting wood in the swollen river.
