Economic development is priority: DPM Singh

Kathmandu, Aug 10: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has said economic development is the first priority of the present government.     

At a programme organized here to felicitate the newly appointed ministers in the Bagmati Province government- Hari Prava Khadgi and Suraj Chandra Lamichhane- here on Saturday, DPM Singh informed that the government was at work to forward the activities in a way that keeps in the centre the socio-economic developments of the country.     

The present government was formed for political stability, he reminded, adding that it is therefore essential to ensure people's realization of change with progress on multiple fronts.     

He further vowed to work honestly for the country and people. (RSS)
