Application for Mrs. Nepal opens

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, July 26: Applications for Mrs. Nepal World 2024, a beauty pageant for married women, have opened since Thursday.

  Organiser Ribbon Entertainment announced it organising a press conference amid a programme held in Kathmandu on Thursday. Nisukant Jha, the president of Ribbon Entertainment, said that the new edition of Mrs. Nepal World will take place at Nepal Academy in Kamaladi on October 26.

 The first round of auditions will be held at Aryal International Hotel in New Baneshwor on August 24. 

This year’s winner of Mrs. Nepal World will have the opportunity to participate in Mrs. World, which will be held in America. Additionally, the titles of Mrs. Nepal International and MS International will be awarded at the same event. 

Jha said that this year’s programme will be modified and unique, aiming to be a successful initiative for women’s empowerment.

Prithivya Thapa, the winner of Mrs. Nepal World 2023, said that the pageant offers married women and professionals a platform to advance. 

She discussed her experience of joining various organisations and working in the field of children’s welfare after participating in Mrs. Nepal World. 

Likewise, MS Nepal 2023 Sita Subedi emphasised the importance of the platform for personal development and overcoming weaknesses.

Ashwini Kant Jha is the choreographer of the beauty pageant.
