Rs 8.39 billion for mid-day meal for students

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 28: Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun has said that the government has allocated Rs 8.39 billion for after meal which to feed 30 lakh students as mid-day meal. 

Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun revealed this while presenting the annual estimate of income and expenditure for the upcoming fiscal year of 2081/82 at the joint meeting of the federal parliament today. 

This will promote primary education from 1 to 5 grade student.
