By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Apr. 10: After the 49th annual general meeting (AGM) of the Nepal Film Association (NFA) held on March 30, the new working committee, elected under the chairmanship of Narendra Maharjan, assumed office on Monday.
Through the AGM, a 13-member new working committee has been formed under Maharjan’s leadership.
The committee consists of Birendra Narayan Shrestha, the outgoing president, Gopalkaji Kayastha, the first vice president, Kapil Prasad Dwa, the second vice president, Omprakash Jaisi, the third vice president, Surendra Kumar Thapa, the general secretary, Dipresh Shakya, the deputy secretary general, and Prajwal Shamsher Jabra, the treasurer.
The members of the working committee of the association are Devendra Khadgi, Rajkumar Shrestha, Govinda Bahadur Shahi, Chhabi Raj Ojha, Niraj Gupta, Karan Shrestha, Ashish Tamang, Mijas Pokharel, and Mahendra Narayan Shrestha.
President Maharjan said that he will soon inform about the upcoming plan and programmes of the association through a press conference.
