HoR meeting postponed after NC's protest

Kathmandu, March 15: Even the second meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been postponed after the protest of major opposition Nepali Congress today.     

As the second meeting of the HoR began today, Speaker Devraj Ghimire provided time for Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane to present a proposal seeking consideration on 'Political Party (2nd amendment) Bill, 2080'.     

However, the Nepali Congress lawmakers left their seat and picketed the well, prompting Speaker Ghimire to postpone the HoR meeting till 11:00 am Sunday. (RSS)
