Sanskriti Sharma wins children’s dance idol

By Our Correspondent,Banke, Jan. 4: Sanskriti Sharma from Banke district emerged as the winner in the state-level children’s dance idol competition at the Lumbini state-level festival held in Nepalgunj. 

According to senior dance director KB Shahi, in the 11-day dance competition, Grishma Rana, Sushmita Sharma and Ponita Sunar secured the second, third and fourth positions respectively. 

The competition featured 39 talented children from various districts within the province. 

Sharma received a prize of Rs. 30,000, while Grishma Rana and Sushmita Sharma received Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 10,000, respectively.

Likewise,  Ponita Sunar, who secured the fourth position, was awarded Rs. 5,000.  In addition to the cash prizes, all winners were honoured with trophies and certificates, informed dance director KB Shahi.
