Nepal Bhasa’s Asan Baja Manga Baja released

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Dec. 15: A Nepali Bhasa (Newari language) music video album ‘Asan Baja Manga Baja’ was released in Kirtipur on Thursday.

 Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan and poet Durga Lal Shrestha released the eight songs of the album. 

Senior songwriters Durga Lal Shrestha, Banshidhar Bajracharya, Bhushan Prasad Shrestha, Natibajra Bajracharya, Mangal Maharjan and Chandeshwor Maharjan are the composers of the eight songs.  In all the eight duet songs included in the album, senior musician Manraja Nakarmi has provided solo music, and Mohan Shakya has contributed solo vocals in the male voice.

 Different female singers, including Ganga Devi Maharjan, Nisha Desar, Kabita Joshi, Srijana Shrestha, Lasata Joshi, Ratna Shova Maharjan, Sarita Shahi and Roji Dangol have lent their voice in the songs. 

All eight songs of the album were reviewed by senior writer and director Prakash Sayami.

 Songwriter Durga Lal Shrestha said that the song albums will make it easy to pass time in the old age.
