By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 4: Swiss social activist Karine Moix has distributed relief materials worth around 6.5 million to the victims of the recent earthquake at Barekot-3, Silpachaur, Jajarkot, the epicenter of the devastating quake.

According to Raju Sharma, a young social activist from Sindhupalchowk, her organization 'Association Tsumo Maya Garchhu', provided the relief-items like blankets, stockings, shoes, stationery materials, trousers, jackets, hankies and many more.

Sharing her distribution of relief materials to the victims, Moix portrayed the situation of the victims as unimaginable and harrowing, just as seen in the cinemas, but never in real life.

The Association Tsumo Maya Garchhu came into being in commemoration of Tsumo Maya, her close aide, in the course of trekking in Nepal who, fatefully, passed away in the devastating earthquake of 2015.

According to Moix, her team distributed 1200 tents, 1200 doubts, 500 pairs of shoes, 600 warm clothes (pants & sweaters), 600 blankets, socks, beanies, notebooks, pens, and sports items for children, among other relief materials.
