Female child dies in jeep mishap

By Sujal Shresthan, Pyuthan, April 23: Female child died when a jeep carrying an Indian pilgrimage met with an accident en route to Swargadwari today. 

Three-year-old Kavya Mouri died when a jeep (Lu 1 Ja 3175)  met with an accident at Takura, Swargadwari Rural Municipality-4 on Thursday. 

Of the injured, two are in critical condition, according to Hari Bhattarai, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Pyuthan. 

17 injured have been sent to Butwal after receiving primary treatment at the Primary Health Centre, Bhingre. 

Police said that the accident occurred when the Mustang jeep lost control and fell about 30 meters off the road.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
