By Rajan Rawat,Humla, Nov. 30: Security personnel of the Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal stationed at the Border Outpost, Hilsha have been helping to collect the revenue to be raised from there in absence of revenue officials.

There is a revenue office at Yari of the district but in absence of the officials from the revenue office and whenever they come to Kathmandu, all the revenue related works have been performed by the APF. There is only one revenue collection staff sent by the government for the office.

Yari Border Customs Office established on the border between Nepal and China is closed now but goods are being imported from China's border Taklakot.

Armed Police Inspector Pappu Yadav said that the customs office chief left for Kathmandu closing the Customs Office. The office was closed because the head of the office, Raj Jaisi, went out of the district for work and the office assistant also went with him.

Inspector Yadav said that the armed police make a list of goods coming from Taklakot. The said list has been sent to the staff of the customs office on messenger.

The goods will be released only after the revenue employees send the receipt of revenue clearance in the messenger of the armed police.

Earlier, the office said that there was a problem in revenue collection due to the lack of sufficient staff according to the vacancy.
