Asmita and Hercules performing in 12 US cities

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Oct. 19: Singers Asmita Adhikari and Hercules Basnet are embarking on their first musical tour in America.

The musical programme will be held in 12 cities across 10 American states, targeting the festivals Dashain and Tihar. The musical tour is set to kick off on October 21 and will continue till November 25.

They are performing in the American cities like  Dallas, Akron (Ohio), Boston, New York, San Francisco, Sacramento, Seattle, Columbus (Ohio), Harrisburg, Baltimore, Atlanta and Virginia.

Titled ‘First USA Musical Tour’, the event is organised by Live at Present. 

Collaborators for this tour include Fuzon International, Koseli Events, and Planet 3 Films.

 Both Hercules and Asmita expressed their excitement for the tour, especially as it offers a chance to celebrate this year’s Dashain musically with their Nepali fellow citizens in the US.

Hercules is renowned for hits like ‘Ke Yo Maya Ho’, ‘Maya Sansar’ and ‘Hijo Bhanda Aaja’. 

Likewise,  Asmita, on the other hand, has recently been in the limelight and is sought after for stage shows. 

She has made a name for herself among the younger generation and is also gaining a foothold in the world of movie playback singing.  Her latest hits include ‘Pareli Jhim Jhim Bho’ and ‘Kale Ketale’.
