By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Oct. 14: The television reality show ‘The Dance Yoddha: Battle of Moves’ was officially announced during an event held in the capital on Thursday.

Subham Bhujel is directing this show. According to director Bhujel, for the first phase of the show, they are currently taking digital auditions. The semi-final round of this reality show will begin after the second week of November. From this round, the show will also be broadcast on television.

“The broadcasting channel for the show is yet to be confirmed, as negotiations with various television channels are ongoing,” informed the organiser.

“The prize amount for the television channel, digital partner, and the show's winner will be disclosed shortly,” said the project coordinator, Manav Siwakoti.

The reality show aims to stand out from other Nepali shows by promoting undiscovered talents and avoiding the controversies often associated with voting systems in reality competitions.

The panel of judges for the show includes choreographer Gambhir Bista, actress Barsha Raut, and Suren Rai, choreographer at the Wild Ripperz Crew.

The judges will disclose all scores on a digital board to ensure transparency, and they will be held accountable for any unusually high or low marks during the live show. Contestants will have the freedom to choose their songs.

Throughout the one-and-a-half-month-long reality show, the contestants will receive various gift hampers, and the winners will be rewarded with prize money and career development opportunities. The show accepts solo, duet, and group performances through digital auditions.

Produced by Cine Event Studio, its primary goal is to showcase and nurture raw and untapped talent and voting-related controversies.
