According to him, ‘Shreemad Bhagawad Gyan Maha Yagya’ will be held throughout the morning during the Nawadurga period with musical tableaux.
A procession called ‘Shova Yatra’ honouring Nawadurga will commence on October 15 on the day of Ghatasthapana ( the first day of Dashain), followed by the beginning of Shreemad Bhagawad Gyan Maha Yagya at midday.
The Shobha Yatra will feature beautifully decorated chariots representing the nine forms of Nawadurga, participation from various law enforcement agencies like the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force, as well as representation from Nepal Scouts, National Service Corps, community organisations, financial institutions, and more. The Bindhyabasini Temple itself, regarded as a powerful religious site, is believed to be over a century and a half old.

The Bindhyabasini Gurukul Vidhyashram, established in 1994, offers free education to students from grades 6 to 10. The temple premises also house amenities for the differently-abled and elderly, including a lift.
Additionally, the committee oversees the Bindhyabasini Senior Citizen Meeting Centre and operates an ambulance service.
