By Tilachan Pandey,Tamghas, Oct. 4: Ramesh Bhandari, who rose to prominence after passing 10 examinations taken by the Public Service Commission (PSC) in one year, has said that he wants to become a sincere servant of the nation.
Bhandari, 25, who is a permanent resident of Dhurkot Rural Municipality–5, Gulmi, has recently been recommended for the post of Section Officer (Account Group) in the federal government.
Talking to The Rising Nepal, he said that he would work to reach higher posts, strive to become a secretary or the Chief Secretary and serve the nation.
Bhandari expressed happiness at being able to conquer the PSC exams in a relatively short time.
Noting that he was able to pass the exams conducted for posts in the civil service, banking service, public corporations, and provincial and local governments, Bhandari said he felt fortunate to have gained the experience of appearing in tests for various services and sectors.
Saying that his exceptional results added to his responsibility, Bhandari promised to do the best he could to deliver services efficiently.
Bhandari first appeared in a PSC exam two years ago.
The exam was for the post of a section officer, but he did not pass it. However, he achieved monumental success in his second try, passing 10 exams of various levels.
Bhandari credited the support he received from his family and also continuous study for his success.
He also suggested others to not let failures discourage them and never give up trying.
