blog

By Our Correspondent,Bhairahawa, Aug. 30: The Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) started its Bhairahawa New-Delhi and Bhairahawa-Hong Kong flights that transit via Kathmandu from Tuesday. However, no one flew on those flights.

According to the Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA), NAC's first flights to Delhi and Hong Kong occurred without any passengers.

NAC had opened the booking of tickets for the flights on Sunday. But people did not seem interested in flying to the two offered destinations.

Passengers going to Hong Kong, China, flow to their destination via Kathmandu while people going to Delhi, India, are required to take a connecting flight at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport.
