blog

By Our Correspondent,Dolpa, Aug. 17: Flights have resumed in Dolpa's Juphal Airport after a month of disturbance.

For the last 26 days, rain and bad weather had prevented planes from coming to Juphal from Nepalgunj.

Tara Air became the first airline to fly to Juphal on Wednesday.

Devaki Upadhyaya, who flew on that flight, said she was relieved that the weather cleared and made her home district Dolpa accessible again.

But Amit Kumar Chaurasiya, head of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) Juphal office, clarified that CAAN was only allowing flights between 6 am to 12 pm to ensure safety.
