“National Anthems of the World” published

By A Staff Reporter,Lalitpur, July 16: Minister for Foreign Affairs N.P. Saud unveiled “National Anthems of the World”, a book consisting of national anthems of the countries associated with the UN, on Saturday.

The book has been published by Nepal Bangmaya Pratisthan. Minister Saud also officially inaugurated the foundation in the same programme organised in Lalitpur.

The foundation is led by Dr. Viplav Dhakal as the president, Umesh Shrestha, a former state minister for health and population, as the prominent patron, and Shankar Prasad Koirala, a former finance minister, as the distinguished advisor. 

According to the foundation, the book consists of Nepali translations of the national anthems of the UN member states.

The programme was also attended by Chief Secretary Baikuntha Aryal,  former Nepal Academy Chancellor Bairagi Kainla, former Foreign Secretary and Ambassador to the UN Madhu Raman Acharya and former Chief Secretary Bimal Koirala among others.
