19 injured as bus plunges

Chitwan, July 14  :  Nineteen people were injured after a passengers carrying bus plunged at Dasdhunga along the Narayanghat-Muglin road section early this mornin

  
The bus (Bagmati Province 01-006 Kha 5237) met the accident at 5:20 today at Dasdhunga of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 on its way to Kathmandu, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bijay Raj Pandit said. As high as 40 passengers were travelling by the bus coming from Kakarbhitta, Jhapa.    

The bus fell 10 meteres off the road after losing control, police added.    
Likewise, 18 injured persons are receiving treatment in different hospitals in Chitwan district while an individual has been referred to Kathmandu for treatment, according to police. (RSS)
