CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair expresses sorrow over chopper crash

Kathmandu, July 12  : CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair and former Prime Minister, Madhav Kumar Nepal, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of six persons in a helicopter crash at Lamjura of Likhupikhe rural municipality in Solukhumbu district on Tuesday.    

In a message of condolence, leader Nepal said he was stunned by the incident and paid tributes to the deceased, and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He also prayed for the eternal peace to the departed souls.    

A helicopter of the Manang Air that left for Kathmandu from Solukhumbu crashed at Lamjura, Likhupike Rural Municipality-5 yesterday. Captain Chet Bahadur Gurung and five Mexican nationals were killed in the chopper accident. (RSS)
