Hand tractors provided to farmers of Bhojpur

By Our Correspondent,Bhojpur, July 6Pauwadungma Rural Municipality of Bhojpur has provided hand tractors to leading farmers of Pauwadungma Rural Municipality-1 Shyamshila. The mini tillers have been distributed to the leading farmers of the ward to ease and modernize agricultural.

Nabin Bhattarai, chief administrative officer of the rural municipality, informed that the rural municipality had purchased and distributed hand tractors to farmers on subsidy. The municipality has provided tractors at 20 per cent of the farmers' investment and 80 per cent of municipality's investment under the 'Poverty Alleviation, Micro Enterprise' programme.

According to him, 13 leading farmers of Shyamshila have received the mini tillers.

Kiran Rai, chairman of the rural municipality, said that with the aim of mechanising agriculture throughout the rural municipality, agricultural inputs have been distributed to farmers associated with groups and individuals.
