By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, June 28: Twenty finalists have been selected for the final competition of ‘Mister Nepal 2023’.
They were selected from among 300 contestants from across the country.
These contestants come from diverse backgrounds, including doctors, engineers, pilots, and chartered accountants, among other prestigious professions.
Ravi Dhamala, the president of the organising body Next Models Nepal, announced that the selected contestants would participate in various training and workshops for the finals.
Various activities such as swimming, football, rock climbing, social service, short hiking, catwalk, personality development and public speaking are encompassed in the training.
‘Mister Nepal’ is regarded as the most prestigious competition for men in Nepal.
The auditions were conducted in Biratnagar, Janakpur, Chitwan, Butwal, Pokhara, and Kathmandu.
To qualify for the competition, the participants must be Nepali citizens aged between 16 and 32 years and have a height of at least 5 feet 8 inches.
The winner of the competition will receive a prize worth Rs. 500,000 and will have the opportunity to represent Nepal in either ‘Mr. World 2023’ or ‘Mr. Global 2023.
Yaetna Pandey, the Managing Director of Next Models Nepal, stated that the event aims to promote domestic tourism in Nepal through various activities.
Since its inception in 2001, ‘Mister Nepal’ has been organised regularly.
