Shrestha’s Jindagika Tareli released

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Apr. 30: Jindagika Tareli (Ripples of Life), an anthology of melodious Nepali songs, composed by lyricist Kalyan Shrestha, has been released amidst a function in the capital on Saturday. 

Speaking at the function, lyricist Shrestha, who is also a former Chief Justice of Nepal said, “This is a new venture of my life in 70s. I want to start my life’s new journey of songs and music by forgetting the past profession as a judge. “ 

“I feel different experience of my life which is the matter of solace and immortality,” Shrestha said.  

The anthology is comprised of seven different songs to which Shakti Ballav has attached music. The names of the songs include Timi Arkai Bhayau, Ma Sidhi Chaddai Janchhu, Kar Ra Karar Hoina Maya, Ke Jiunu Khai Jindagi, Deurali Bhaknu Parne, Ke Bhet Bhayo Yesto and Himal Herera. 

Swaroop Raj Acharya, Milan Newar, Ram Krishna Dhakal, Ananda Karki, Satya Raj Acharya and Sumit Khadka are the vocalists of the music album. 

“Shrestha’s songs are beautifully composed and artistically presented. They carry vivid image of experiences of life and wider perspective of knowledge,” said Krishna Hari Baral. “It is rich in combination of words, diversity of life experiences and geographical identity.”
