NC stakes claim to form new govt in Lumbini

By Chhabi Lal Pande, Butwal, April 27: Nepali Congress Lumbini Province Parliamentary Party Leader Dilli Bahadur Chaudhari submitted a claim for the formation of the government in the Lumbini Province before Province Chief Amik Sherchan today.

Chaudhari submitted the claim to the Province Chief's Office with the support of eight parties and the signatures of the 53 members of PA.   

The alliance has proposed Chaudhari as the new Chief Minister of the Province.

Chaudhari was supported by Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Centre), Janata Samajwadi Party, Loktantrik Samajwadi Party, Nagarik Unmukti Party, Janamat, Rashtriya Janamorcha and CPN (United Socialist) Party.
