By Our Correspondent,Deukhuri, Apr. 24: The Lumbini provincial government has completed its first 100 days in office amid uncertainty. The provincial government led by Lila Giri of the CPN-UML on Saturday made public the works in the first 100 days in a press meet orgainised at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers to make public the achievements it had made in 100 days on Saturday. Implementation of the decision regarding the provincial capital and reduction of the number of ministries were presented as main achievements made in the 100 days during the press meet.
Announcing the achievements of the government, the spokesperson for the Lumbini Province Government, Chet Narayan Acharya, claimed that the main achievements were the construction of permanent infrastructure required for the capital of the province, and the increase in revenue collection.
In the very first number of the achievement list, the government has kept the foundation laying ceremony of the administrative buildings of 10 ministries, including the office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers.
However, the provincial government failed to come up with concrete plans and programmes directed at the people.
Within a few days in the office, the Chief Minister's Cabinet fell into minority after the political parties like CPN (Maoist Centre) Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal and Nagarik Unmukti Party withdrew their support given to the government.
