Tattoo convention concludes

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Apr. 10:  The 10th edition of Nepal International Tattoo Convention, which began on April 7, concluded in the capital on Sunday. 

 According to the organiser Tattoo Pvt Ltd, 97 tattoo stalls from different countries were showcased  in the conference. Hundreds of people have tattooed on different parts of their body during the festival. 

Lately, tattoo lovers are increasing in Nepal and Tattoo culture has been flourishing rapidly, generating employment opportunity among youth. 

Tattoo culture is not a new concept here, it was the oldest tradition practiced specially by Newars, Tharu, Gurungs and Magars communities since the ancient time. 

However, nowadays, young people are influenced by pop culture and tend to make tattoos on their body parts.
