Kathmandu, June 1: Parliamentarians of the National Assembly have disrupted the meeting demanding information from the government regarding the alleged Nepal's violation of India's border.
Demanding emergency time at the beginning of the meeting, MP Ranjit Karna objected to the statement made by Prime Minister Balendra Shah in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Sunday that Nepal has encroached on India's border and demanded clarification in this regard.
MPs Rajendra Lakshmi Gaire, Ram Kumari Jhankri and Tul Prasad Bishwakarma, who spoke after MP Karna, also demanded clarification regarding the Prime Minister's speech.
After the emergency, the MPs stood up from their respective seats and protested, demanding that the government clarify the matter.
