11,262 projects registered in Karnali Province Project Bank

Kankrebihar (Surkhet), June 1 : So far, 11,262 projects have been entered in the Karnali Province Project Bank from all ministries, and 930 projects have been reported to be in process. 

It has been reported that 2,062 projects under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development have been entered in those plans.

The ministry stated that for the coming year, 2,062 different projects have been entered from local governments to the provincial planning commission through the thematic ministries of the province.

According to the government's policy, plans from 10 districts and 79 municipalities will be implemented only after being entered into the Provincial Planning Commission.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning has a practice of making public the details of the plans proposed by the concerned ministries to the Planning Commission before delivering the budget speech.

Among the ministries in Karnali Province, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development receives and implements the highest budget. The ministry has made public the 2,062 projects in the physical infrastructure sector by entering them into the project bank.

Vice-Chairman of the National Planning Commission, Ashoknath Yogi, informed that among the projects entered in the project bank, 10,332 projects will be implemented in the coming days. (RSS)
